Role Overview:

We are looking for a Data Engineer to design and develop end-to-end data pipelines in a Data Lake environment.

The role includes:

• Developing complex data pipelines in a Data Lake ecosystem
• Implementing data ingestion and movement processes in relational environments
• Developing Python scripts (with emphasis on PySpark)
• Conducting data development and analysis using SQL
• Performing unit and integration testing
• Working with CI/CD processes

Requirements:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Python
• 2+ years of experience in Big Data, especially Spark and Hive
• Strong ability to read and write complex SQL queries
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Data technologies (SSIS, SQL Server)
• Knowledge of DWH, Data Lake, ETL/ELT processes
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working with CTRLM
• Experience with Teradata – an advantage
• Familiarity with Qlik Sense or Quilliup – an advantage
• Background in the financial sector – an advantage
