Senior Data Governance Analyst

Looking for a Senior Data Governance Analyst to help manage and protect all personal data across our global operations. Your role is to make sure data is collected, stored, and used safely and legally, supporting our data governance, privacy, and security standards. You’ll work closely with technical and business teams to keep our systems compliant, secure, and built with privacy in mind.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain our personal data inventory and Records of Processing Activities.
• Implement and monitor data classification, retention, and minimisation practices.
• Work with internal teams and vendors to embed privacy-by-design into systems and processes.
• Create and update data protection policies and procedures.
• Lead DPIAs, DTIAs, and other privacy-related risk assessments.
• Manage data subject rights requests (DSRs) in line with legal requirements.
• Oversee personal data mapping, flows, and classification activities.
• Support technical teams to ensure strong data protection and security controls.
• Act as a subject matter expert on privacy-by-design across products and infrastructure.
• Stay up to date with global data protection laws and advise on implications.
• Build dashboards and reports to track compliance, risks, and data quality.
• Prepare reports for senior leaders, regulators, and auditors.
• Support employee training and awareness on data protection.
• Help strengthen data stewardship across the organisation.

What You’ll Bring

• Degree in Information Management, Law (with a privacy focus), Data Science, or similar.
• Certifications like CIPP/E, CIPM, or CDMP (or equivalent).
• 5+ years’ experience in data governance, privacy, or data management.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and AML/KYC requirements.
• Experience using data governance tools.
• Good understanding of data classification, lineage, retention, and access controls.
• Ability to analyse and communicate technical data flows, risks, and controls.

Nice to Have

• Experience handling multi-country privacy compliance (US, EU, LATAM).
• Background in online gaming, sports betting, or financial services.
• Remote working experience.
