• • One of our clients, a fast-growing startup in the robotics and AI sector, is looking to hire an NPI & Production Lead. * * The company develops autonomous robotic platforms that use advanced computer vision and cloud-based analytics to improve safety and efficiency in building maintenance. They operate in a hybrid work model and are based in Tel Aviv.
• • Job Overview: * *

The NPI & Production Lead will take full ownership of the transition from R&D to scalable production. This is a strategic operational role responsible for managing the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, leading assembly and support technicians, and handling the supply chain and procurement processes for building complex robotic systems.

• • Key Responsibilities: * *

• Lead the entire NPI process, ensuring a smooth transition of robotic systems from R&D to production.

• Manage and mentor a small team of assembly and technical support technicians (2 direct reports).

• Handle the purchasing of hardware components, including supplier engagement and negotiation.

• Maintain production documentation (BOMs, assembly instructions, quality procedures).

• Enforce Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) practices.

• Oversee daily assembly, testing, and repair operations.

• Manage inventory, stock levels, and production logistics.

• Conduct supplier quality audits and resolve production or quality issues.

• • Minimum Qualifications: * *

• BSc in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering (or related field).

• 3–5 years of experience in NPI, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering.

• Background in procurement and supply chain management.

• Previous experience managing a team of technicians or operators.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, plastics, sheet metal) and quality control.

• • Preferred Qualifications: * *

• Experience with robotics or complex electromechanical systems.

• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and quality standards like ISO 9001.

• Proficiency with technical documentation systems.
