We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Software Team Leader to guide our multidisciplinary engineering team in building robust, scalable infrastructure across both cloud and on-premise environments. This role is essential to the reliability and efficiency of our data systems and platform, ensuring our technology foundation scales with our growing operations and innovation needs, Including hands-on work.

As the Infrastructure Team Leader, you will manage a diverse team of backend, DevOps, and data engineers. You will be responsible for planning, architecting, and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our data pipelines, internal services, and critical integrations. This includes ingestion of external data, real-time system monitoring, and serving data to dashboards and analysis platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of Backend, DevOps, and data engineers, System Linux administrator (4 Engineers) - fostering collaboration, performance, and growth.
• Own and evolve the infrastructure stack—both on-premise and cloud-based (GCP) - ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
• Design and manage robust data pipelines for ingesting external data and delivering insights to analytical dashboards and internal consumers.
• Establish monitoring systems and alerting frameworks to ensure health and visibility into services and pipelines.
• Collaborate across functions, including operations backend, algorithms, mechanical engineers, and product, to align infrastructure solutions with business and technological needs.
• Drive best practices for infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, testing, and deployment pipelines.
• Partner with team members to resolve incidents, optimize performance, and build automated, self-healing systems.

Requirements:

• At least 6 years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership/Tech lead role.
• Proven experience leading backend and/or infrastructure teams in a fast-paced environment/ Tech Lead.
• At least 3 years in Python development.
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud services.
• Deep understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, system monitoring, observability, and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Helm).
• Solid knowledge of backend systems design, distributed architecture, microservices, and data-driven solutions.
• Experience with DB (for example, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, BigQuery) and related data stores.
• Track record in managing and scaling reliable systems with high uptime requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working across disciplines and global teams.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Preferred: Familiarity with algorithmic and machine learning team workflow.
• Preferred: Familiarity with on-premise infrastructure/applications.
