A dynamic, multidisciplinary startup developing a photonic quantum computer, combining expertise in quantum physics, optics, mechanical engineering, hardware, and software. The company’s solution aims to revolutionize fields such as medicine, defense, climate, and finance, making practical quantum computing accessible.

The offices are located in central Israel near the train line and public transportation, with one work-from-home day per week. Founded five years ago, the company has around 60 employees and recently completed a Series A funding round of several million dollars.

The role involves leading and managing a team of 3 systems engineers responsible for developing and defining the system specifications of the company’s photonic quantum computer, reporting to the VP of R&D.

Requirements-

• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams
• 10 years of experience in system architecture, integration, or systems engineering of complex technological products (e.g., photonics, precision instruments, opto-mechanical systems, quantum devices, or semiconductors)
• M.Sc or Ph.D in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Hands-on experience in integrating opto-mechanical and electronic systems, control software, and laboratory instrumentation
