**Your impact

**As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will own and drive end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery across the assigned payroll portfolio. You will act as a trusted expert, proactively identifying improvements, managing risks, and supporting audits, while contributing to a smooth and compliant payroll experience for employees and stakeholders.

What The Role Offers

• End-to-end payroll processing using the Hargal payroll system
• Full responsibility for payroll administration, including benefits, compliance, tax, and financial year-end activities
• Involvement in internal and external audits, finance queries, banking, and treasury-related activities
• Management of payroll payments and all related compliance administration
• Opportunity to support and train team members, sharing knowledge and best practices
• Participation in process improvement initiatives and small-scale payroll projects
• Exposure to cross-functional collaboration with HR, Finance, and external partners
• Active role in ensuring compliance with GDPR, company policies, and regulatory requirements

What You Need To Succeed

• 5+ years of payroll experience, with strong knowledge of payroll systems and processes
• Experience with Hargal payroll system or similar platforms
• Solid understanding of payroll accounting, reconciliations, and compliance processes
• Experience in end-of-employment processes (including notifications, 161 forms, Section 14, and severance law)
• Knowledge of onboarding processes and implementation of different contract types (monthly/hourly)
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to work with incomplete or complex data
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to perform root cause analysis, manage risks, and improve processes
• Confident communicator who can collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and guide others
