**What Are We Looking For?

**We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, and versatile backend engineer to take over multiple development responsibilities under the Checkmarx One group.

We are working with the most cutting-edge technologies, building a new and exciting cloud platform using mainly Golang, gRPC, Redis, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Docker, and more.

How Will You Make an Impact?

• Develop and maintain backend services based on GO
• Design and implement architecture for distributed and complex systems
• Write high-quality, well-documented, and performant code
• Write test automation to validate your code
• Work with relational databases and message queues
• Improve performance, reliability, and scalability of existing systems
• Work in a Microservices environment
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, QA, and product teams
• Create and maintain technical documentation

Requirements:

What Is Needed to Succeed?

• 3+ years of experience in backend development and infrastructure – MUST.
• BSc/MSc in Computer Science / Software Engineering
• Proficiency in Golang – Ability to design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend services
• Experience with Data persistence and message queues
• Micro-services architecture and development
• Linux and Docker proficiency; Kubernetes experience is a significant advantage
• Primarily a backend role, but familiarity with React or willingness to learn and handle occasional frontend tasks – strong advantage
• Ability to take on light DevOps tasks, such as maintaining GitHub Actions workflows or improving internal tools, is highly valued
• Strong knowledge of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working alongside cross-functional teams (frontend, backend, product, design, etc.)
• Problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to analze problems and propose creative solutions
• Ability to manage your time effectively, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Good written and verbal communication in Hebrew & English
