R&D Manager – Applied Organic Chemistry

Location: Haifa (one day per week in Rehovot) | Full-time, On-site

We are looking for a highly experienced R&D Manager to lead strategic research and development in applied organic chemistry. This role focuses on developing advanced formulations and technologies to address biofilm contamination challenges across global industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute an R&D roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams in chemistry and microbiology.
• Drive formulation development and technology transfer to manufacturing.
• Collaborate with international customers on pilots and co-development projects.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or MSc in Chemistry.
• 6–9 years of experience in applied organic chemistry and product formulation.
• Proven leadership experience managing R&D teams.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (EPA/BPR, REACH, TSCA).
• Fluent English and strong communication skills.
• Advantage: Experience in detergents, personal care, or cosmetics.
