DeFi Engineer

Salary: Up to $160,000 + Bonus & Benefits

Location: Fully Remote (UK, EU, US East Coast)

We’re working with an early-stage, stealth Web3 venture backed by a top-tier funding group, building a next-generation DeFi automation and trading platform. The mission is to remove the clunky user experience of on-chain interactions and deliver a faster, cleaner, multi-chain interface with the lowest barrier to entry.

They’re now hiring a DeFi Engineer to join a high-calibre backend team. You’ll be heavily involved in designing low-latency systems, integrating with leading Solana and EVM ecosystems, and helping shape a product aimed at pushing DeFi infrastructure forward.

What you’ll be doing:

• Building and maintaining backend integrations with major Solana and EVM DEXs and emerging protocols.
• Developing high-throughput APIs that abstract complex DeFi operations.
• Testing, profiling, and optimising systems for performance and reliability.
• Participating in code reviews and elevating engineering standards.
• Writing clean, maintainable, production-level code.

What we expect from you:

• Strong experience building low-latency microservices in Rust or Go.
• Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals, AMMs, cross-chain systems, and key DeFi primitives.
• Hands-on experience integrating with smart contracts, routers, liquidity pools, and on-chain data.
• Familiarity with Git workflows, Docker, Kubernetes, and production microservice deployments.
• Good SQL knowledge (MySQL/PostgreSQL) plus practical use of Redis for low-latency caching.
