Educational Mentor (Remote · Part-Time)

Yeda mentors teens in Math, English, and mindset. We work with families who care deeply about growth, confidence, and long-term learning habits. This is high-trust, high-impact work.

We’re looking for exceptional educational mentors who want to do meaningful 1:1 work and are comfortable in a demand-based freelance model.

Important upfront

This is not a full-time role and hours are not guaranteed. Demand grows based on student fit and mentor performance. Mentors who create real value see students rebook and demand increase. Those who don’t, don’t.

The role

• Run 1:1 mentorship sessions with teens (13–18), focused on confidence, learning habits, motivation, stress, and school relationships.

• Track student progress and update shared tracking files clearly and thoughtfully.

• Communicate with parents and the Yeda team when relevant.

• Work mainly in European time zones, with availability in late afternoons and evenings required.

You’re a strong fit if you

• Have experience mentoring, coaching, teaching, or working closely with teens.

• Are native or near-native level in English and communicate calmly under pressure.

• Build trust quickly and can hold meaningful conversations, not scripts.

• Take ownership of outcomes and don’t wait to be managed.

• Understand that sustained demand comes from doing excellent work.

What this role is not

• Not guaranteed weekly hours.

• Not a passive “session delivery” role.

• Not suitable if you need predictable income or full-time stability.
