Lead QA Automation Engineer

Lead QA Automation Engineer for a high-growth EdTech startup. This is a founding role for a "one-man show" expert, responsible for building the entire quality infrastructure from the ground up for a scaling educational platform.

This role involves

Building the entire QA infrastructure and strategy from scratch, ensuring seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines.

Writing and maintaining automation tests for a React Native mobile application. Establishing best practices while taking full ownership of manual and regression testing in the initial phase.

Working directly with the CTO as a key partner in technical decision-making, with the long-term goal of recruiting and mentoring a high-performing QA team.

The ideal candidate will bring

7+ years of QA experience with a strong focus on mobile automation and an architectural mindset.

Proven track record with React Native applications (Required).

Hands-on coding expertise: Significant experience writing automation code (Appium, Detox, or similar) and developing frameworks from scratch, rather than just executing existing scripts.

Experience building QA processes from the ground up, establishing everything from technical documentation to automated delivery workflows.

Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Bitrise) and analytics platforms (Mixpanel, Firebase).
