looking for a high-energy, results driven, seasoned, hands-on sales executive, a real hunter with a proven track record to help shape our sales organization and
scale revenue by few step functions to the next level. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining, articulating and implementing the company’s distribution
strategy for selling our products and services, providing directions and mentoring sales, business growth, customer success, and employee development.
This person should be excited by selling to new customers and new markets, actively seek out major channel partners and growth opportunities, form good
relationships and optimizing distribution channels, developing forecasts and strategies to achieve sales targets and negotiate complex deals to beat the
competition in head-to-head opportunities. She/he should possess a strong technical and technological background, in order to be able to understand the
company’s technology, environment and be able to have an intelligent conversation with its surroundings, let it be colleges, clients or partners.
Responsibilities
· Develop a comprehensive sales and distribution strategy, sales process and best practices and achieving the company’s sales goals
· Prepares forecasts and KPI reporting for use in organizational planning, financial forecasting, budget setting and strategic planning
· Build and optimize a global distribution in relevant places around the world
· Collaborate with members of the Marketing team to penetrate key markets
· Build prospecting practices, outbound sales and generate leads to meet sales targets
· Foster relationships with new partners to achieve desired revenue
· Influence senior stakeholders within customers' organisations
· Investigate factors impacting sales performance
· Monitor changes in the industry and leverage them for business opportunities
· Participate in forums to keep abreast of new changes in the industry and practices
· Promote positive relationships with major customers to understand their needs
· Review sales performance by analysing performance reports
Skills and Qualifications
· 5+ years of experience in B2B sales and distribution channel management in a global company.
· A highly motivated and target driven salesperson by nature, with excellent presentation and persuasion skills.
· Electronics Engineering background a must
· Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others on them
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
· Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
· Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to
multitask.
· Strong leadership and team building skills
· Demonstrates superb customer service to maintain client relationships and help them navigate company products
· Proficient in leading CRM systems, and in Microsoft office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Willingness to travel extensively.
· High level of proficiency in English - additional language an advantage
