What You’ll Do

• Lead innovation projects, from concept to working POC – to demonstrate new tech and features.
• Design, develop, and deliver software based POCs that demonstrate how new technologies can improve our patient's lives and experience.
• Architect and implement solutions in the cutting edge of hearing aid technologies
• Lead or contribute to refining software architecture for current and future products.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).

• Experience: 8+ years in software engineering

• Technical Skills:

• Expertise in full stack design and programming – not concerned about building a full system / demo on their own end-to-end.

• Experience with real time systems, mobile dev, or hardware interfaces an advantage.

• Proven ability to design and implement full-stack systems end-to-end, including frontend, backend, and infrastructure.

• Experience building distributed systems that span multiple cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), with a focus on secure, scalable, and efficient interconnectivity.

• Skilled in designing APIs and communication protocols that enable seamless integration between services and components.

• Capable of analyzing and integrating with existing baseline designs—able to learn and understand complex systems quickly, and plan changes that extend functionality without introducing regressions or instability.

• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies such as containers Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with real-time systems, mobile development, or hardware interfaces is a strong advantage.

• Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

• Strong initiative—able to identify opportunities, define project goals, and kick off new efforts with minimal guidance.

• Skilled in planning timelines, breaking down tasks, estimating required workforce and resources, and managing dependencies.

• Capable of identifying delicate or high-risk components in a system and proactively developing mitigation strategies.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making informed decisions that balance technical feasibility, business impact, and long-term maintainability.
