**The Opportunity

**We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our engineering and Dev Ops team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be the architect of our infrastructure, ensuring that Matia’s platform is scalable, resilient, and secure. This is a hands-on role where you will bridge the gap between development and operations, automating our deployment pipelines and managing our cloud-native ecosystem. What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and manage our cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform, ensuring environment consistency and scalability.
• CI/CD Automation: Take full ownership of our deployment pipelines, optimizing for speed, reliability, and developer productivity.
• Cloud Orchestration: Manage and scale our Kubernetes (K8s) clusters on AWS, ensuring high availability and efficient resource utilization.
• Observability & Monitoring: Implement and maintain robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure platform health and rapid incident response.
• Security & Compliance: Drive security best practices across the infrastructure, including IAM management, network security, and vulnerability scanning.
• Collaborate: Work closely with software engineers to optimize application performance, containerization strategies, and database reliability.

**What We're Looking For

**We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on builder and technical leader who can independently drive innovation and impactful contributions to complex systems.

Must-Haves

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), ideally within a high-growth SaaS or data-heavy environment.
• Cloud Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience with AWS (EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC).
• Containerization: Mastery of Kubernetes and Docker in production environments.
• Automation: Expert-level proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins) and IaC (Terraform).
• Scripting: Strong proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for automation and internal tooling.
• Leadership: Proven track record of taking ownership of complex infrastructure projects and mentoring team members on DevOps best practices.
• A passion for solving challenging technical problems, thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• A team player with excellent communication skills who can simplify complex infrastructure concepts for cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with big data technologies or data orchestration tools (Airflow, etc.).
• Experience within a data tools or infrastructure-focused company.
