We are looking for an experienced Head of Data to lead RealPlay’s data strategy, operations, and cross-company analytics functions. This role is central to shaping the company’s decision-making, ensuring accuracy and reliability of data, and building a strong data-driven culture across all departments. You will oversee both Business Analysts and BI/Data Engineering teams, define company-wide KPIs, develop analytical frameworks, and act as the primary data partner for senior leadership. This is a hands-on, high-impact leadership role in a fast-growing environment.

Responsibilities

• Data Strategy: Define and lead the company’s data strategy, KPIs, and data integrity.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the BA and BI/Data Engineering teams.
• Infrastructure & Accuracy: Oversee data pipelines, dashboards, and ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Insights & Decision Support: Provide actionable insights and early alerts to guide business decisions.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the primary data
• partner for C-level and ensure all teams receive clear, prioritized data support.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in data, analytics, BI, or similar fields — at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience managing both analytical and data engineering teams.
• Strong proficiency with modern data stacks (Looker, DBT, BigQuery, SQL, ETL tools).
• Demonstrated ability to build KPI frameworks, scalable reporting, and cross-company data strategies.
• Excellent communication skills — ability to simplify complex data for senior leadership.
• Strong business understanding, with experience supporting marketing, product, and operations.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Experience in gaming / sweepstakes / consumer tech — advantage.
