Security Engineer – Autonomous SOC / SIEM / AI Security

Location: Israel – Hybrid (Flexible)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Security Engineer to join a cutting-edge security team focused on building and enhancing Autonomous SOC and AI-driven security operations. In this role, you will play a key part in designing investigation logic and detection workflows that mirror real-world SOC investigations across cloud, SaaS, identity, endpoint, and network environments.

You will work hands-on with leading SIEM platforms, developing high-quality queries and investigation logic that power automated and scalable security operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and continuously enhance a robust library of investigation and detection queries across major SIEM platforms
• Design investigation logic for common and advanced alert types spanning identity, cloud, SaaS, data, network, and endpoint security
• Evaluate and improve query performance, accuracy, and coverage to support high-fidelity investigations
• Collaborate closely with research, product, and engineering teams to translate security use cases into scalable detection logic
• Contribute to improving automated investigation workflows and SOC efficiency

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a Security Engineer, Detection Engineer, or SOC Engineer role
• Strong hands-on experience with SIEM platforms and advanced query development
• Deep understanding of how real-world SOC investigations are conducted
• Solid knowledge of security and IT data sources, including identity providers, EDR tools, cloud platforms, and SaaS applications
• Experience working with investigation flows for common security alerts
• Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, automation frameworks, or similar)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
