Senior Backend Developer

📍 Holon, Israel

A leading defense company, specializing in the development of advanced, high‑performance systems, is looking for a Senior Backend Developer for a key role at the core of its product.

About the Role

🔹 Development and maintenance of core software components in complex, multi‑disciplinary systems

🔹 Design, implementation, and maintenance of database architecture (SQL / NoSQL)

🔹 Requirements analysis and creation of detailed software design specifications

🔹 Development of integration processes and System of Systems solutions

🔹 Collaboration with internal and external customers in Israel and abroad

🔹 Participation in system delivery and deployment processes

Mandatory Requirements

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Electrical Engineering

✅ At least 7 years of experience in Backend development within complex systems

✅ Proven experience in database architecture design and specification (normalization, ERD, indexing)

✅ Strong proficiency in C# and .NET technologies

✅ Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Source Control

✅ Willingness to travel abroad

✅ Ability to work under pressure and provide professional leadership in a matrix environment

Advantage

⭐ Experience with SQL Server / PostgreSQL / MongoDB

⭐ Familiarity with defense systems, C4I (Command & Control) or Electronic Warfare (EW) systems
