Job Description

micro1 is hiring a Japanese Language Expert to support advanced AI language model development for a global technology client. In this role, you will work on training, evaluating, and improving AI-generated content by applying your linguistic expertise in Japanese and English.

Key Responsibilities

• Annotate and review bilingual Japanese–English language data
• Evaluate text for grammatical accuracy, semantic clarity, and cultural relevance
• Review and improve AI-generated content to ensure natural language quality
• Provide detailed linguistic feedback to improve AI model outputs
• Follow annotation and quality guidelines while meeting productivity targets
• Document findings and collaborate with internal teams as required

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Native or near-native proficiency in Japanese with strong English skills
• Experience in linguistics, data annotation, writing, editing, or language QA
• Strong understanding of Japanese and English grammar and cultural nuances
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
• Interest in AI, NLP, and language technology
