a profitable public fintech company operating in the payments and credit sector, is looking for an experienced and driven development team lead to join our r&d team.

the ideal candidate will be responsible for leading both technically and professionally a team of developers, maintaining and evolving existing systems while driving new initiatives, and advancing the organization’s codebase and platforms.

this role requires a deep understanding of software architecture and development methodologies to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable solutions.

the position includes hands-on development, designing and implementing apis and microservices architecture for high-scale systems, working with databases such as mysql and mongodb, and leading the team toward continuous improvement in development quality, standards, and performance, leveraging strong expertise in software development and architecture.

in addition, the role includes managerial responsibilities such as mentoring, professional guidance, and leading advanced development processes within the team.

responsibilities lead and manage a development team (hands-on) drive agile development processes (sprints, planning, retrospectives) design architecture and lead complex technological solutions develop core systems end-to-end lead and implement ai solutions in the product (automation, prediction, chatbots, etc.) improve development processes, ci/cd, and automation collaborate closely with product, qa, and devops teams own code quality, performance, and security mentor and grow developers within the team

requirements at least 2 years of experience as a development team lead proven experience leading agile development processes 5+ years of hands-on software development experience strong experience in one or more of the following: node.js, php, react experience working with complex systems and distributed architecture experience with databases (sql and nosql) strong understanding of apis, integrations, and external services experience working with aws or cloud environments practical experience with ai solutions or integrating models into systems (llms, apis, intelligent automation) bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field from a recognized academic institution

advantages experience developing or implementing machine learning models experience with rag systems, vector databases, or semantic search engines experience building chatbots or recommendation systems background in fintech or financial systems experience with redis, message queues, and event-driven architecture familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., new relic)
