bleader is a leading data & ai consulting and implementation company. we're recruiting on behalf of a leading financial services organization focused on data & ai innovation, seeking an experienced data science team lead to drive high-impact initiatives. this role combines hands-on technical leadership with guiding a ds team while shaping scalable ml and llm solutions across hybrid environments.

role overview:

• lead and mentor a multidisciplinary data science team
• own end-to-end development of ml models and llm pipelines (on-prem & cloud)
• translate business needs into actionable ai solutions
• collaborate closely with it and business stakeholders
• implement cloud-based methodologies and contribute to rag-driven architectures

requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in data science
• 1-2 years as team lead / tech lead
• strong background in classical ml algorithms and llms
• experience with langchain / similar frameworks, tokenization, prompt engineering
• familiarity with rag architectures - strong advantage
