a large and leading company is looking for a lead ai engineer to lead the development and implementation of advanced ai solutions in an enterprise environment.

this is a significant role that combines technological leadership, solution design, and hands-on development, with responsibility for building end-to-end enterprise ai capabilities. the role is suitable for a candidate with broad system-level thinking, the ability to work independently, and hands-on experience with llms, rag, and integration with enterprise systems.

key responsibilities:

• leading enterprise ai solutions from the initial concept stage, through technical design, to hands-on implementation.
• working closely with business and technology stakeholders to understand needs, evaluate use cases, and translate them into practical solutions.
• designing and developing solutions based on language models, rag, and ai agents.
• developing services and processes in python as part of enterprise ai systems.
• building workflows for processing enterprise information, including data ingestion, document processing, chunking, embeddings, and intelligent content retrieval.
• integrating ai solutions with existing organizational systems, including internal systems, apis, microsoft 365, sharepoint, and teams.
• developing reusable technology components for future ai projects across the organization.
• defining permission mechanisms, information security controls, and safeguards to reduce exposure of sensitive information.
• supporting professional teams, implementing standards, and establishing work methodologies in the field of enterprise ai.

requirements:

• significant experience in python development.
• proven experience in building and operating rag solutions in a production environment.
• experience working with large language models, including azure openai / openai.
• experience developing apis and integrating different systems.
• familiarity with azure services relevant to ai, search, applications, and integration.
• experience working with tools or libraries for developing llm- and agent-based solutions.
• ability to work with multiple stakeholders, including it, infrastructure, development teams, and business units.
