u.s. based organization promoting donor investment in israeli ngos seeks israel program director (50%)

location: remote position requiring travel and meetings with partners, teams and potential participant ngos in the jerusalem and tel aviv areas.

description: serve as the central promoter, contact, guide and coach for israeli ngo fundraising teams to incorporate legacy giving as an integral part of their fundraising vision and strategy; this includes training and empowering partner ngos in israel to incorporate legacy giving; recruiting new ngos to the program through promotional strategies, webinars, and delivering impactful presentations; managing partner ngo relationships, nurturing strong connections with development directors and ceos; overseeing partner ngos timelines and deliverable outcomes; serve as a professional resource to partner ngos, providing clear and practical guidance to address challenges; work closely with the israel based team to improve and expand program offerings.

requirements: familiarity with the philanthropic and ngo landscape in both israel and the u.s.; strategic understanding of fundraising including senior resource development experience and project management experience; excellent spoken and written communication skills in english and hebrew; people person with self management skills, outstanding communication and marketing abilities, organization, flexibility, and the ability to forge long term professional relationships based on trust and meaningful outcomes; familiarity with legacy giving is an advantage.
