In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For

• Lead the design and technical development of full-stack features, with a focus on backend development (Javascript/Typescript) and front-end (React).
• Build and own new features in our core product, driving real impact and ensuring deliverables are completed from planning through to production.
• Ensure the production of high-quality code that is readable, testable, and maintainable.
• Design scalable and efficient software components that perform smoothly under load.
• Proactively raise potential issues and propose solutions to both technical and business challenges.
• Identify areas that can benefit from re-architecture to support future scalability and proactively drive the necessary improvements.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to developers, helping them grow their skills in coding, testing strategies, and best practices to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

About You

• Passionate about software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience working with microservice architecture & distributed systems.
• Experience in server-side development using Node.js.
• Experience working with databases (SQL, MongoDB) & messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Demonstrated leadership in driving technical initiatives and improvements.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to proactively share knowledge and collaborate across teams.
• A strong sense of ownership and accountability for your team’s technical direction and operational efficiency.
