The Land Division at ELTA is looking for a Weapon Systems Engineer.

The position includes:

• Leading the weapon systems engineering and integration into autonomous combat systems from standalone components to multi-mission, closed-loop fire control capabilities
• Understanding the operational landscape, defining the system solution and architecture, through detailed engineering design, development, integration, testing, and readiness for serial production
• Collecting, analyzing, and refining customer requirements and translating them into system-level specifications
• Leading design reviews, working with cutting-edge technologies, and initiating ideas that mature into products
• Defining system-level processes and interfaces between the weapon system and other subsystems
• Writing complex concepts, technical specifications, and multi-disciplinary system design documents
• Guiding subcontractors and reviewing their deliverables
• Working in a matrix structure with engineering teams across various disciplines
• Leading the integration of standalone systems into a unified, mission-ready system
• Leading lab and field testing activities

What We’re Looking For:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Aeronautics – required
• M.Sc. in Systems Engineering – a strong advantage
• At least 7 years of experience in system engineering and system specification
• Proven background in weapon systems – required
• Experience in system engineering of aerial or hovering platforms – strong advantage

In this role, you’ll work on some of the most operationally and technologically challenging
