About the role

Team8 is a company-building venture group with deep domain expertise that creates and invests in companies specializing in enterprise technology, data, cybersecurity, and fintech. Leveraging its in-house, multi-disciplinary team of company-builders integrated with a dedicated community of C-level executives and thought leaders, Team8’s model is designed to identify big problems, ideate solutions, and help accelerate success through technology, market fit, and talent acquisition. Team8’s leadership team represents serial entrepreneurs, industry pioneers, and the former leader of Israel’s elite tech and intelligence Unit 8200.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with fintech founders in our venture creation fund to write and edit marketing assets (web copy, brochures, company decks, blog posts, etc) and develop marketing plans that include industry event strategies, social media content, and more.
• Create compelling value propositions and messaging for early-stage fintechs that are still in stealth mode
• Proactively support the launch of new fintech companies by developing relevant content, and overseeing a coordinated PR campaign designed to generate brand awareness across mainstream and social media
• Increase Team8’s fintech brand visibility and develop compelling thought leadership content (editorials, industry reports, surveys, infographics, events etc) designed to elevate the profile of Team8 partners, our company-building theses, and fintech portfolio companies.
• Work cross-functionally on behalf of our fintech companies to fuel ongoing product adoption and go-to-market launches.
• Identify and emphasize competitive differentiators for our fintech companies: advocate for prospective users, stay informed of their competitive landscape, and become the go-to expert to help shape their thought leadership programs.
• Pursue speaking engagements and public-facing opportunities at relevant industry events on behalf of Team8’s fintech leadership and our fintech founders.

Desired Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of Fintech/Financial Services/Enterprise Technology marketing experience - preferably in product marketing or content marketing
• Professional marketing experience in the US banking system is an advantage
• Demonstrated track record of working across multiple teams and developing successful marketing plans and thought leadership programs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong project management skills and excellent problem-solving skills
• Proven track record of successfully launching, managing, and growing commercial software products
• BS/BA degree required.
