About the Role

The scope of work: Develop PV Market for Strategic Key Accounts in Israel & build up the company brand. Bring on major new clients to complement the existing wide network of the company in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to develop, update and implement the assigned region's sales target and sales strategy and be capable to execute in line with the HQ sales plan.
  • Continuously establish and develop business relationships with potential & new customers, expand sales coverage in the assigned region and provide strong service to the new and existing accounts.
  • Identify and develop Strategic Key Accounts. Negotiation and follow up of contracts. Manage entire selling process from forecasting to actual product delivery and payment collection for all the key accounts. Timely communications with customers on issues relating to their orders and shipments. Coordinate with Sales Support to ensure order fulfillment.
  • Approach emerging PV plant project leads from key accounts to further expand business growth; work with clients to bid government tenders of PV Projects, supplying JA Solar modules.
  • Identify, establish and manage multi-tiered relationships across customers and company’s organization to ensure a long-term business partnership.
  • Maintain close relationship and communication with existing key accounts to understand their needs regarding technical, financial, logistic and marketing support, and organize internal resources to meet those needs and identify new business opportunities.
  • Analyze and monitor account customer data, and develop reports on a regular basis based on customer information and development trend. Ensure effective reporting of all activities related to the managed accounts to the superior.
  • Promote JA brand and organize marketing events in Israel market. Stay up to date with market information, including competitors and customers benchmarking and technical and financial market requirements.
  • Manage & work closely with local governmental entities to ensure JA modules are approved in their vendor list as required.
  • Identify and assist in JA module registration and local certifications in the region as required.

Qualifications

  • Renewable energy experience is a must, PV industry experiences, a plus.
  • In-depth understanding of Israel PV market, wide industry network and connection with local energy sector & solar industrial associations.
  • Government or utility background, a plus.
  • Project development and financing knowledge is a plus.
  • Fluent in English is a plus.
