About the Role:

We’re looking for a hunter-minded Account Executive to drive new business growth within the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry. This is not an account management role — it’s about opening doors, developing new relationships, and winning transformational IT and digital programs in a highly competitive market. You’ll identify high-potential clients, build executive connections, and lead the full sales cycle — from prospecting to close - across cloud, data, AI, integration, and managed services offerings.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Identify, target, and acquire new pharma and life sciences clients across EMEA or other market.
  • Build a strong understanding of the pharma ecosystem -key players, trends, and whitespace opportunities.
  • Run multi-channel campaigns (outreach, events, partnerships) to build a high-quality sales pipeline.
  • Partner with Delivery and Solution Architects to position Billennium’s cloud, data, and AI services with a clear business value narrative.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle — from first contact, discovery, and proposal, through pricing, negotiation, and contract signing.
  • Engage senior stakeholders (IT, R&D, procurement, and business leaders) to understand challenges and co-create tailored solutions.
  • RFI/RFP Management: Drive the proposal process, crafting compelling value propositions and ROI cases with technical experts.
  • Forecasting & CRM Discipline: Maintain clean pipeline data, accurate forecasts, and structured pursuit plans (Salesforce / HubSpot).

What You Bring:

  • 5–8+ years of enterprise sales or business development experience within Pharma, Life Sciences, or IT professional services.
  • Proven track record of hunting and closing new enterprise clients (not just farming existing ones).
  • Strong understanding of cloud, data, AI, and digital integration technologies and how they impact Pharma R&D, clinical, and manufacturing workflows.
  • Exceptional consultative and storytelling skills; able to simplify complex ideas for executive audiences.
  • Strong negotiation and commercial acumen, with a history of quota overachievement.
  • Strategic thinker with a problem-to-solution mindset and curiosity for technology innovation.
  • Experience engaging hyperscalers (Microsoft, AWS, GCP).
  • Familiarity with regulated environments (GxP/CSV), procurement cycles, and data privacy (GDPR) standards.
  • A self-starter mindset, resilience, and passion for building something from scratch.
  • Excellent English skills- both written and verbal (C1+).
