Chemistry Data Annotator (Remote, Europe)

Pay: $25/hour

Level: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Chemistry or related field

We are building next-generation AI models to accelerate discovery in chemistry. We are looking for candidates with a chemistry background to help curate, annotate, and validate datasets for AI training. No prior annotation experience required — just your expertise in chemistry!

Responsibilities:

• Annotate and structure chemistry datasets (molecular structures, reactions, experimental data, computational models).
• Review AI-generated outputs for accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with AI teams to translate chemistry concepts into annotation guidelines.
• Provide feedback to improve AI performance across chemistry subfields (organic, inorganic, analytical, physical, computational).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of chemistry principles.
• Familiarity with scientific software or tools (ChemDraw, Python, MATLAB, Gaussian, etc.).
• Attention to detail and ability to evaluate datasets critically.
• Based in Europe with access to a laptop for remote work.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with machine learning or AI concepts.
• Programming experience in Python, MATLAB, or other chemistry tools.
