A highly successful high-tech company, which deals with Internet content filtering and image recognition technologies and is located in Petah Tikva, is looking for a Linux System Administrator
Job Description
The System Administrator will be responsible for a variety of activities related to information systems, such as setting up virtual servers, operating backups, handling database failures, responding to and handling server failure alerts, reporting on activity on an ongoing basis, and more.
Requierments:
- 3 years experience - Required
- Significant knowledge of Linux including knowledge of bash, iptables
- Understanding of network route, rule, pool, sw, vla
- Familiarity and understanding of basic network protocols (client, server, ip, TCP, UDP, syn, syn-ack, dhcp) - Permission
- Understanding of file system (hard/soft link, xFS, resierfs
- Familiarity with some virtualization (VMware or xen or KVM)
- Good English - Advantage
- Familiarity with - ISP Advantage
- Experience with information security - Significant Advantage
