A leading defense company located in northern Israel is seeking an experienced System Administrator.

The role includes managing, maintaining, and upgrading IT systems, including servers, workstations, and network infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

Administration, maintenance, and upgrade of IT systems, including servers, workstations, and network infrastructure

Management of virtualization environments (VMware / Hyper-V)

Administration of Active Directory, including Group Policy and domain management

Responsibility for backup, recovery, and business continuity processes

Leading and supporting IT projects according to organizational needs

Participation in the integration of new computing systems

Continuous learning of new technologies and ongoing improvement of existing infrastructures

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience as a System Administrator (Windows and Linux environments)

Proven experience managing Active Directory and email infrastructures (Exchange)

Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (VMware / Hyper-V)

Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN)

Experience writing and implementing scripts for routine maintenance, user management, integrations, and deployment processes

Advantages

Relevant certifications (MCSE / MCITP, CCNA)

Experience with storage and backup systems (NetApp, Commvault, NetBackup)

Familiarity with monitoring tools and systems (SCOM, Splunk, SolarWinds)

Knowledge of management systems (SCCM, BigFix)
