The Opportunity:

This is a unique opportunity to build the Poduct Marketing function as part of our Marketing team.

As Boards’ first Product Marketing Manager, you’ll work closely with Product, Growth, and GTM teams to shape how our products are positioned, communicated, and adopted.

You’ll play a key role in turning product value into market impact — helping us scale adoption, deepen engagement, and expand our reach.

Responsibilities:

• Product Positioning and Messaging:
• Craft clear, inspiring, and differentiated messaging that resonates with our unique audience of independent business owners and direct sellers. Translate complex functionality into human, emotional stories that reflect Boards’ brand voice.
• Ecosystem Connection & User Insights:
• Deeply understand our market and ecosystem and build close relationships with our users to uncover their motivations, language, and environment. Become the internal voice of our users — translating their needs and insights into language, messaging, and content that resonate across all touchpoints.
• Customer Segmentation:
• Define and refine personas and map their journeys to ensure the right messages reach the right people at the right time.
• Bringing New Features to Market:
• Collaborate closely with the Product team on new feature announcements, ensuring every release is communicated with clarity and excitement.

Translate product updates into stories that connect with our users’ needs and language, and deliver consistent messaging across all channels — from announcement to adoption.

• Lifecycle Communication:
• Collaborate closely with Product and Growth teams to translate their goals into clear, engaging user journeys across email and in-app communication channels. Design and execute touchpoints that feel personal, timely, and aligned with the user experience — driving activation, engagement, conversion, and retention.
• Content & Collateral Creation:
• Create high-impact materials such as feature explainers, case studies, and user stories that amplify the value of Boards.
• Sales & Partnerships Enablement:
• Support GTM and Brand Partnerships teams with clear messaging, pitch decks, and enablement materials that communicate the platform’s impact.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in product marketing or related roles in SaaS or apps for SMBs / prosumers.
• Proven ability to create compelling narratives and emotional storytelling around digital products.
• Deep understanding of consumer marketing and consumer behavior.
• Experience crafting and optimizing user journeys and lifecycle communication.
• Strong collaboration skills — comfortable working across product, design, and marketing teams.
• Native-level English (spoken and written) with exceptional copywriting ability.
• Previous experience working with SMBs, solopreneurs, or creator-driven audiences – strong advantage.
