HyperGuest is a fast-growing travel tech company transforming how accommodations and travel providers connect and collaborate. Our cB2B SaaS platform enables hotels and travel distributors to work together directly, efficiently, and transparently, creating a smarter and more connected travel ecosystem.

We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on VP of R&D to lead our engineering organization and drive HyperGuest’s technological vision. You will own the evolution of our product technical aspects, scale our systems, and lead a high-performing team of developers and DevOps engineers.

This role is ideal for a technical leader with deep architectural insight, modern engineering instincts, and proven experience building and scaling high-quality SaaS platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary team of talented software engineers and DevOps professionals.
• Plan, build, and deliver features that operate seamlessly in large-scale, data-driven, distributed environments.
• Oversee all development activities from design and implementation to deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Partner with Product and company leadership to define and execute the technology roadmap.
• Champion engineering excellence, including CI/CD, testing automation, security, observability, and performance.
• Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and proactively adopt tools and methodologies that accelerate business growth.
• Manage engineering resources, priorities, and timelines across multiple concurrent initiatives.

Requirements:

• At least 6 years of global R&D engineering leadership experience in a B2B SaaS company (mandatory), including either 2+ years as VP of R&D or 4+ years as Director of R&D
• Proven hands-on experience building data-intensive applications and distributed systems.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Node.js, Vue.js, AWS infrastructure, MongoDB (not Atlas), MySQL, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Experience leading DevOps teams and driving DevOps best practices.
• Solid background in software architecture and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into scalable technical solutions.
• High level of English (written and spoken) – mandatory.
