We are looking for an Account Manager.

Job description

As an Account Manager at Direct Experts (DEX), you will combine strong sales acumen with technical understanding to drive growth and customer success across our cloud and IT solutions portfolio. You will be responsible for developing business by managing and expanding relationships with existing customers while proactively identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities and potential leads You will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring customer satisfaction, promoting DEX’s solutions and services, and achieving defined sales and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the customer relationship - manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification to deal closure and ongoing account growth.
  • Seek and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts and potential leads through proactive engagement, understanding customer needs, and aligning DEX’s solutions to their goals.
  • Manage commercial relationships, including pricing, renewals, and contract negotiations, ensuring win-win outcomes for both DEX and the customer.
  • Serve as the primary business point of contact, overseeing all customer sales requirements and ensuring smooth coordination with pre-sales, delivery, and technical teams.
  • Conduct regular business reviews, manage escalations, and maintain customer health and retention through a proactive and customer-centric approach.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience and identify opportunities for cross-sell and upsell of DEX’s cloud, cybersecurity, and managed services offerings.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor, understanding customer challenges, identifying technical blockers, and coordinating with pre-sales and delivery teams to drive resolution.
  • Stay up to date on cloud, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, and AI technologies to proactively share insights and new solutions with customers.

Requirements

  • Proven B2B sales and account management experience in the IT, cloud, or technology sectors.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets while managing long-term business relationships.
  • Highly motivated, results-driven, and self-directed, with strong organizational and process management skills.
  • Strong technical background and understanding of cloud architecture, licensing models, and IT infrastructure solutions.
  • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of customer business needs and the ability to translate them into tailored technology solutions.
  • High level English – reading, writing, speaking.
