Enterprise Account Executive – Quantum Computing

About the Role

Enterprise Account Executive required for a leader in quantum control hardware required to drive commercial growth across enterprise accounts throughout EMEA. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating complex technical sales cycles and representing a sophisticated hardware product suite.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire enterprise sales cycle: pipeline generation, qualification, technical discovery, proposals, negotiation, and closing.
• Engage with quantum computing teams, researchers, system architects, and innovation leaders to understand use cases and position hardware solutions effectively.
• Partner with applications engineers, product teams, and leadership to deliver accurate technical information and high-quality customer experience.
• Build, grow, and manage a strategic account portfolio across academia, industry, and government research organisations.
• Forecast, track, and deliver revenue with discipline and transparency.
• Represent the organisation at conferences, demos, workshops, and customer site visits.
• Provide structured market feedback to influence product roadmap and go-to-market strategy.

Requirements

• Experience in enterprise technical sales & business development, within high-tech industries selling deep technical hardware products.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with long lead times.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to scientists, engineers, and senior decision-makers.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a technically challenging market.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering and product teams.
• Self-motivated, organised, and able to work effectively with a global customer base.
• Willingness to travel for customer engagements, demos, and events when required.
