About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated, driven, task-oriented and intellectually curious Controller to join our growing Finance Team. Reporting to the CFO , our Controller will help ensure efficiency in the execution of all things related to finance, accounting, and taxation.

Bits of Gold Finance Department mandate is to bridge the traditional world of finance with the innovation of cryptocurrency products, providing our (external and internal) clients with a best-in-class financial institution experience.

• Language: Fluent Hebrew & English (must)
• Reporting: Directly to the Chief Financial Officer
• Full Time

What You'll Do:

• Conduct, prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annually analytical reviews and financial reports.
• Partner with external auditors to support quarterly and annual financial audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage the daily and monthly financial and trade ops controls.
• Lead crypto and fiat reconciliations, including general ledger activities, journal entry reviews, and account reconciliations.
• Responsible for the group’s budget control processes, overseeing the Israeli entity and its European subsidiaries.
• Reconcile intercompany balances.
• Ensuring all global statutory reporting such as tax and VAT are filled.
• Assistance with the monthly payment cycles, ensuring vendors are paid correctly according to their terms.
• Develop and implement financial policies and accounting procedures.
• Lead Ad-Hoc finance projects as well as financial analysis of strategic decisions.

You have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field – Must
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – Must
• 3+ years of accounting experience – a Must ; Big 4 experience - An advantage
• Familiarity and hands-on experience with accounting software such as Priority, SAP, payroll systems, and similar platforms - Must.
• Cryptocurrencies/ Blockchain specific finance/accounting experience - Advantage
• Experience working at a high growth startup - Advantage
• Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to details and proven ability to multi-task and time management
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to present to senior management
• Fluent in English & Hebrew, both written and spoken – Must
• Excellent office tools skills, particularly Excel - Must
• Proficiency with Google Work Suite
