About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Finance with deep experience in eCommerce - especially within the Amazon ecosystem. This individual will lead all financial aspects of the company and play a key role in shaping the long-term growth strategy. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in finance, accounting, and M&A, coupled with the ability to build out scalable financial systems and lead high-impact analysis across the business.

This is a Full-Time remote role.

We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer specifically with these requirements:

• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (MBA or CPA preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles.
• Minimum 3-5 years of direct experience in eCommerce, ideally with Amazon FBA/FBM businesses.
• Proven success managing both accounting and finance functions in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Hands-on experience with M&A transactions, including financial due diligence and post-acquisition integration.
• Strong working knowledge of eCommerce analytics tools such as Sellerboard, Helium 10, or Jungle Scout.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems like QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence executive decision-making, and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Entrepreneurial approach with the ability to thrive in ambiguity and scale operations efficiently.

Your responsibility will include (but not limited to):

• Develop and execute financial strategies that support long-term growth, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and capital planning.
• Oversee all accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, GAAP compliance, and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure tax compliance and manage external relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
• Monitor financial performance across Amazon FBA/FBM and other eCommerce marketplaces, tracking SKU-level profitability, ad spend ROI, and logistics costs.
• Reconcile financial data between Amazon Seller Central, payment processors, and accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero).
• Partner cross-functionally with marketing and operations to analyze campaign performance, product launches, and cash flow cycles unique to eCommerce.
• Lead M&A initiatives by identifying acquisition targets, conducting financial due diligence, building valuation models, and managing post-acquisition integration.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team while implementing best practices in automation, data analytics, and scalable financial systems.
• Foster a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement across the finance function.

• You haven’t led both accounting and finance functions in a scaling company.
• You’re unfamiliar with financial due diligence or post-acquisition integration in M&A.
• You don’t have working knowledge of eCommerce analytics tools (e.g., Sellerboard, Helium 10, Jungle Scout).
