We are seeking a talented senior Backend Engineer to join our team to help design, develop, and maintain the backend infrastructure of our emerging and growing client-side security product. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for creating micro-services that protect against client-side attacks, always evolve the system according to the latest security trends and compliance, and ensuring the system is highly scalable.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient, and high-performance backend services.
• Develop solutions in a cloud-native, microservices-based environment using modern architecture and system design principles.
• Implement and integrate data and messaging frameworks such as MongoDB, Kafka, Redis, and the ELK stack.
• Build, operate, and improve cloud-based systems on GCP, including CI/CD pipelines and containerized workloads.
• Own services end-to-end: deployment, monitoring, observability, and ongoing optimization.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, analyze system behavior, and improve reliability.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features in a fast-paced environment.

Who You Are

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development roles.
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture and modern distributed system design.
• Backend development experience in Go / Java / C# / Python, with practical experience in concurrency and multithreading (Go is a strong advantage). Experience with Node.js is a plus.
• Experience with at least two of the following: MongoDB, Kafka, Redis, ELK stack.
• Strong experience with Docker and designing scalable microservices architectures.
• Background working with GCP or similar cloud platforms.
• Solid understanding of networking, monitoring, and alerting frameworks/tools.
• Experience maintaining production services, including troubleshooting and incident analysis.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong “can-do” attitude.
