The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Financial Controller to take ownership of all financial control and reporting activities within our company. You will work closely with management to ensure financial accuracy, visibility, and compliance, while building the infrastructure that supports our growth.

You will directly manage bookkeeping activities and partner with external accountants and the leadership team to deliver timely, accurate financial data and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Ownership of financial reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.

• Budgeting & forecasting: Build, track, and maintain budgets and forecasts in collaboration with department heads.

• Plan vs. actual analysis: Monitor budget execution, investigate variances, and provide actionable insights to management.

• Cash flow management: Maintain short- and long-term cash flow projections and optimize working capital.

• Internal controls & compliance: Develop and implement financial controls, processes, and documentation to ensure compliance and scalability.

• Audit & tax coordination: Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.

• Management reporting: Deliver monthly reports and dashboards that support business decision-making.

• Process improvement: Identify and drive efficiencies across finance operations, supporting the transition from manual to automated systems.

Requirements

• Education: B.A. in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

• Experience: 5+ years in finance or accounting roles, including at least 2 years as a Controller or Senior Financial Analyst. Experience in a startup, manufacturing, or hardware company is preferred. Managerial experience - an advantage.

• Technical skills: Strong Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems (Priority, NetSuite, SAP, etc.) and budgeting tools.

• Mindset: Hands-on, detail-driven, and highly organized with a strategic perspective.

• Soft skills: Excellent communication, business partnering, and analytical skills.

• Language: Fluent in Hebrew & English.
