RWS is expanding its network of expert linguists and is seeking freelance German → English patent translators to build long-term working relationships and support ongoing patent translation projects.

We are interested in translators with subject-matter expertise in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering to work on Intellectual Property content for some of the world’s most innovative companies.

If you have solid experience in chemical patent translation, a strong eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering the highest quality while maintaining clear communication, this opportunity is for you.

Job Type: Freelance Collaboration — Remote (anywhere)

Requirements:

• Native-level proficiency in English with excellent command of German

• University degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in patent translation

• Ability to work with CAT tools (Trados Studio)
