We are looking for Pre-Sale Data Engineer for a global software company

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical sales process for data solutions, including data integration, data quality, data governance, and API integration

• Identify customer needs and match them to relevant data and analytics solutions (Talend, Qlik Sense, etc.)

• Present technical value, run POCs end-to-end, and follow up with customers throughout the process

• Work closely with account managers and internal teams to support the full sales cycle

• Provide ongoing technical training for sales teams and new employees

• Deliver enablement sessions and workshops for customers and internal stakeholders

• Stay up-to-date with new technologies, product updates, and industry trends

Requirements

• 2+ years as a Data Pre-Sale Engineer or a Data Engineer aiming to move into Pre-Sale – Must

• Relevant academic degree or professional certification – Must

• Experience running POCs – Advantage

• Experience or familiarity with Talend – Advantage

• Strong understanding of the Israeli business market and business-oriented thinking

• Excellent verbal communication, persuasion, and customer-facing presentation skills

• High-level proficiency in English (reading & writing)

• Strong training and teaching ability

• Team player with the ability to meet ambitious targets

• Strong analytical skills and ability to define customer needs

• Initiative, fast learner, highly organized, and able to prioritize tasks

• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong self-management

• Outstanding presentation and communication abilities
