**Role Description
**

This is a full-time on-site role for a Backend Tech Lead, based in Tel Aviv-Yafo. The Backend Tech Lead will be responsible for overseeing the backend development team, designing scalable and robust backend systems, and maintaining reliable server-side architecture. Day-to-day tasks include leading technical projects, coding, conducting code reviews, working with APIs, and ensuring optimized performance of gaming servers. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to driving technical excellence and innovation.

**Qualifications
**

• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js
• Experience with database development, architecture, and management systems like SQL or NoSQL
• Strong understanding of API design, integration, and deployment in scalable systems
• Prior experience in leading and mentoring development teams
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and understanding of distributed systems
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Previous experience in the gaming industry or with multiplayer server architecture is a plus
