The Role

We are looking for a hands-on Startup CFO to own Genor’s financial strategy from early scale through significant growth. This is not a big-company finance role. You will build the financial backbone of the company, work directly with the CEO, and be deeply involved in fundraising, pricing, contracts, and strategic decisions.

This role is ideal for someone who has led finance at an early or Series A–C startup and is comfortable operating with ambiguity, speed, and ownership.

Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Leadership

• Own company-wide financial strategy, planning, and execution
• Build and maintain financial models (runway, scenarios, hiring plans, pricing)
• Advise CEO on capital allocation, growth tradeoffs, and risk

Fundraising & Investor Relations

• Lead financial preparation for fundraising rounds
• Manage data rooms, investor materials, and diligence
• Serve as a key point of contact for investors and the board

Operations & Controls

• Establish budgets, forecasting, and cash management
• Build financial controls suitable for enterprise and government customers
• Oversee accounting, payroll, tax, and compliance (US + Israel)

Go-To-Market & Revenue

• Partner with CEO and Growth to define pricing, contracts, and deal structures
• Support enterprise sales cycles with financial rigor (ROI, pilots, SLAs)
• Track unit economics, margins, and customer profitability

Scaling the Function

• Build the finance stack (tools, processes, reporting)
• Hire and manage finance / accounting resources as needed
• Prepare the company for scale, audits, and enterprise scrutiny

Requirements

• 8+ years in finance, including CFO or Head of Finance at a startup
• Experience with venture-backed companies and fundraising
• Strong modeling, forecasting, and strategic finance skills
• Familiarity with SaaS / enterprise software economics
• Comfortable operating across US and Israeli legal/financial frameworks
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and execution-focused

Nice to Have

• Background in AI, enterprise automation, or deep tech
• Previous exit or late-stage scaling experience
