The Quest

Programming has entered a whole new era. The way developers work is changing and so are their tools. Based on over 40 years of experience, I have a vision for how programming will chnage and I'm looking for a parnter to help me improve the vision and implment.

I released our first tool in early december - an opinionated, fast & safe open source coding agent. It lives in the terminal and comes with a builtin sandbox.

I'm also working with two design partners. In both cases, the challenge is legacy code without testing coverage. Both require advanced workflows to pay the existing debt and increase coverage.

The Framework

We develop Asimi across two main dimensions where you will take the lead:

• Methodology: Harmonizing the developer, the agents, and the work issues into a single, fluid workflow.
• AgentOPS: Leveraging deep integrations with Podman, Git and more to seamlessly integrated and follow the fittest tools.

Who You Are

• A Systems Builder: You have deep experience in designing software and a mastery of your operating system.
• DevEx Fanatic: Especially bad UI can hurt your eyes.
• DevOps DNA: You think in terms of CI/CD, worktrees, and isolated environments.
• Founder Mindset: You are ready to move from fixing bugs to building a community and pitching to top-tier VCs

. As we are currently in the pre-seed/fundraising stage, you have the financial runway and commitment to work for equity during the initial months as we close our seed round.
