The Role

We’re hiring a Founding Full Stack Engineer to join the core team and build the product from the ground up.

This is not a feature-delivery role. It’s a founding-level position with real ownership over system architecture, product decisions, and engineering standards across backend and frontend.

You’ll work directly with the founders to design, build, and scale a production-grade AI-driven product, operating in a high-trust, real-world financial environment.

What You’ll Do

Build the Core Product

• Own end-to-end development across backend, frontend, APIs, and data pipelines in a production AI product
• Design and implement scalable, reliable systems from first principles, not templates
• Make architectural decisions that balance speed of execution with long-term scalability
• Build foundations that support autonomy, observability, security, and trust

AI Systems & Execution Layers

• Build and integrate AI-driven systems that execute real workflows across advisor tools and internal services
• Work hands-on with LLM orchestration, tools, memory, state management, and system evaluation
• Design deterministic control layers around probabilistic models

Frontend for AI Products

• Build clear, professional UX for users operating in a trust-sensitive environment
• Translate complex AI behavior into predictable, explainable product experiences
• Own critical product flows such as onboarding, task execution, monitoring, and feedback loops

Founding Team Ownership

• Shape engineering culture, standards, and development practices from day one
• Operate without rigid specs – define problems, propose solutions, and execute
• Influence product roadmap, technical priorities, and system design decisions
• Take full ownership over what gets built, how it’s built, and why

Who We’re Looking For

Must-Have

• 5+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer building complex, production-grade products
• Strong backend engineering skills, including API design, async workflows, state management, and data modeling
• Solid experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, or similar), building real, product-facing UIs
• Proven experience building, shipping, and operating production SaaS systems end-to-end
• Experience designing systems under real-world constraints such as performance, reliability, cost, and security
• Comfortable owning ambiguous, system-level problems end-to-end, prioritizing real-world behavior and long-term velocity.

Strong Advantage

• Hands-on experience building AI-powered products, including LLM-based systems, agents, or automation layers
• Background in B2B or enterprise products where trust, reliability, and data integrity are critical
