Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Weizmann Institute of Science, located in Rehovot, Israel. The role is time-limited to one-one and a half years, with an option to extend for additional one year. The Postdoctoral Researcher will engage in independent and collaborative research, on a project aiming to modify diamond wafers surface in order to chemically bond it, via glass-type of bonder, to other substrates of interest e.g. silicon. It includes work in clean room environment, wet chemistry, surface and stress performance characterization.
Qualifications
- Work experience in clean-room environment and with vacuum equipment (sputter, e-beam evaporation, CVD, etc.)
- Proficiency in laboratory skills and practical experience in experimental setup.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Demonstrated expertise in Research, including designing and conducting studies in relevant disciplines.
- Ph.D. in a relevant scientific field.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration abilities.
- Prior experience publishing research in peer-reviewed journals is highly desirable.
