**We are looking for a Director of Engineering to lead our growing engineering team and help shape the future of AI security. As a key leader in our organization, you will drive the development and execution of our technical vision, ensuring that our platform continues to scale and innovate. You will not only oversee ongoing engineering operations but also play a pivotal role in building and structuring the engineering organization from the ground up, fostering a high-performance culture, and implementing best practices. Additionally, you will take ownership of the core aspects of Zenity’s product, driving the technical strategy and innovation required to develop and enhance its foundational capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the engineering team, including hiring, mentoring, and developing engineers to maximize their potential and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with Zenity’s business goals, focusing on scalability, reliability, and innovation.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products while adhering to best practices in architecture and coding.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and other cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with business and product priorities.
• Establish and maintain engineering standards, processes, and tools to increase team efficiency and ensure code quality.
• Drive technical initiatives and innovations, staying up to date with industry trends and integrating relevant new technologies into Zenity’s technology stack.
• Monitor and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet company objectives and deliverables.
• Act as a technical advisor to the leadership team, providing insights and recommendations based on technological expertise.

Requirements:

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years managing engineering managers and leading multiple teams.
• Experience working in cybersecurity companies and products.
• Proven track record of leading engineering teams in a startup or fast-growing environment, with experience in scaling teams and systems.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices architecture, and modern software development practices (Agile, CI/CD).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Hands-on experience in software development and architecture design, with a solid technical background in relevant programming languages and technologies used at Zenity.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing challenges.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.
