The Role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to spearhead our launch and ongoing operations in Israel. This is a hybrid leadership role that combines high-level strategy with "roll-up-your-sleeves" execution.

You will own the entire Israel P&L. You will not only build the Go-To-Market plan but also execute it - hunting for new business, defining our pricing and bundling architecture, and building a high-performance team. You must possess a deep rolodex of local connections and the ability to sell effectively to SMBs, SMEs, and consumers alike.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Go-To-Market (GTM)

  • Architect the Launch: Design and execute a comprehensive GTM strategy for Voye’s entry into the Israeli market as an MVNO.
  • Product & Pricing: utilizing deep analytical skills to structure competitive pricing models and creative service bundles that appeal to the Israeli consumer and business mindset.
  • Brand Positioning: Adapt the global Voye brand to resonate with the local market, overseeing marketing strategies that drive high-volume B2C acquisition.

2. Commercial Growth & Sales (The "Hunter" Mindset)

  • Direct Sales Leadership: Act as the "Head of Sales," personally leveraging your existing network ("rolodex") to onboard the first wave of strategic B2B clients.
  • B2B Expansion: Develop and execute a sales strategy specifically targeting SMBs and SMEs, moving them from legacy carriers to Voye.
  • Partnerships: Identify and negotiate distribution partnerships and B2B2C opportunities.

3. Operational Leadership & P&L

  • Full P&L Ownership: Manage the budget, revenue forecasts, and profitability of the Israeli operation.
  • Team Building: Recruit, hire, and mentor a high-performing local team across sales, support, and marketing. Train members to achieve operational excellence.
  • Analytics: Establish KPIs and metrics to measure success, using data to pivot strategies quickly when necessary.

Who You Are

  • The Seasoned Leader: You have 10+ years of experience in senior commercial or general management roles, with a proven track record of building and managing teams.
  • The Connector: You have a deep understanding of the Israeli market and come equipped with an active network of potential B2B customers that you can convert immediately.
  • The Hybrid Seller: You understand the nuances of selling to both B2B (specifically SMB/SME) and B2C segments.
  • The Strategist: You have a deep understanding of bundling, pricing, and unit economics. You know how to package a product so it sells itself.
  • The Operator: You are analytical and financially literate, capable of managing a P&L and measuring ROI on every initiative.
  • The "Hunter": You are not an armchair general. You are hands-on, willing to take meetings, close deals, and solve problems on the ground.

Qualifications

  • Must-Have: 10+ years of leadership experience in Sales, Business Development, or General Management in Israel.
  • Must-Have: Proven experience selling to the Israeli SMB/SME sector.
  • Strong Advantage: Background in the Telecom/Mobile industry (MVNO / MNO experience is a massive plus).
  • Skills: Strong financial acumen (P&L), data analytics, and negotiation skills.
  • Language: Native Hebrew and fluent English (written and spoken).
