**Join our journey

**We’re looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our growing team and help customers succeed in implementing and adopting Nominal. As our first US-based Technical Project Manager, you’ll play a critical role at the intersection of product, engineering, and customer success - designing and delivering solutions that bring automation and intelligence to complex accounting processes.

You’ll work directly with our customers to translate business and accounting requirements into scalable, secure, and innovative configurations built on Nominal’s platform. You’ll also collaborate closely with our international Product and R&D teams to influence the roadmap, validate new features, and ensure customers get measurable value from every release.

Responsibilities And Impact

• Lead end-to-end customer onboarding and implementation projects, from requirements gathering to go-live.
• Translate customer and business requirements into scalable technical solutions aligned with Nominal’s product architecture.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing technical guidance, data mapping, and process design support.
• Partner with the product and R&D teams to communicate customer needs, validate new capabilities, and drive continuous improvement.
• Pilot and deploy new features before general release, ensuring reliability, accuracy, and customer value.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with customer stakeholders and internal teams across time zones.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field - A must
• 2+ years of experience in audit, advisory, or financial systems implementation - A must
• 2+ years of customer-facing experience
• Ability to quickly learn and master complex technical and business subjects independently
• Strong understanding of accounting processes, data structures, and financial reporting
• Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams or working in a technology-driven environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Effective communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally and across geographies
• High proficiency in Excel
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment
• Open to domestic and occasional international travel for customer engagements and team collaboration

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in an early-stage startup environment
• Familiarity with accounting and ERP systems
• Background in fintech or SaaS implementation roles
• Hands-on experience as a financial controller or accounting systems owner

Salary Range: 100K - 140K USD
