• Previously served in one CISO role
• Building and leading an information security and cyber strategy
• Managing an annual/multi-year work plan and meeting objectives
• Risk management, assessments, and compliance (GRC): writing policies and procedures, preparing for audits, handling findings, and ongoing management of ITGC controls
• Vendor and third-party risk management: vendor assessments, contractual security requirements, tracking compliance, and remediation of findings
• Ability to manage and operate information security vendors/service providers
• Managing an external SOC: defining the service, governance, KPIs/metrics, monitoring processes, and incident response
• Cyber incident management: incident response processes, exercises, crisis management, and lessons learned
• Security in projects and development: overseeing security aspects from agreement stage through go-live
• Privacy and personal data protection: managing privacy aspects in collaboration with the company’s DPO
• Awareness and training: organizational training program, phishing simulations, and fostering a security culture
• Presenting to various committees / board of directors
• Leading/supporting Business Continuity (BCP/DR) and emergency preparedness
