senior sw engineer sw architecture & research group 🚀

we are looking for a senior engineer to join our sw architecture & research group in hod hasharon. this role bridges the gap between cutting-edge research and production-quality solutions, influencing the architecture of next-gen dsp, wireless (5g/wifi), and ai systems.

🚀key areas of focus: -parallel computing: optimizing algorithms for multi-core/many-core cpu/gpu/dsp architectures and simd/vectorization. -linux internals: deep user-space and kernel-space development, including kernel modules, drivers, and data-path optimizations. -system architecture: defining end-to-end system flows and execution pipelines for complex wireless and ai workloads.

🚀qualifications: -education: bsc/msc/phd in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field. -experience: 5 + years in algorithm development, system architecture, or low-level software engineering. -dsp & ai: strong background in dsp and/or ai algorithms with performance-critical implementations. -parallel computing: deep understanding of data/task/pipeline parallelism, memory hierarchy, cache behavior, and concurrency. -linux expertise: advanced user-space (c/c++), linux kernel development, kernel internals, and debugging. -system knowledge: solid understanding of computer architecture, performance bottlenecks, and system-level optimization. -tools: proficiency in python, simulation, performance modeling, and profiling tools. -deep understanding of wi-fi (802.11) or 5g cellular systems (phy/mac). -hands-on experience with pytorch for ai workload development. -experience with heterogeneous systems, accelerators, or real-time/low-latency systems. -prior experience in a research or architecture group; publications/patents are a major advantage.
